Can we talk about how much I hated the Pilates Extreme workout today? You guys, I felt like such an American't. This version of Pilates uses a resistance band. The. Entire. Time. Or, as I am calling it...

Seriously, I really struggled through this one.
I want to like it. I really do.
I want to be good at it and that is part of my problem. I am not.

Anyone else get frustrated trying something new and not being good at it? I need to work on this. I guess Pilates Extreme is a good place to start. Part of my problem, again, lies in the fact that using the resistance band is hard on my wrist. I just didn't have the strength to stretch the band certain lengths for some of the exercises. I may need to find a workaround or give up the band altogether for some of the moves. Because words cannot begin to describe this workout, I thought I'd post a little video below. She makes it look easy. It is not! It is frustrating. But I won't let it beat me. I refuse to give up. I will keep trying. I may keep failing. But I won't be stopped until I have mastered this workout! No matter how long it takes. I will do this!
