We have a mini fridge in our admin area at the office. In order to get anything in and out of it, you have to squat down to look inside. Let's talk about pain shall we? I had to give my legs a little pep talk on the way down and on the way up...I am almost sure I heard them scream profanities at me. They weren't any happier with me when we got home and I dropped the bomb on them...it's LOWER FIX EXTREME today guys...
Lower Fix extreme. Legs on...fiyah! If you thought the original lower fix was brutal. This is torture. I guess I like torture because this will likely become a favorite workout too. I really had to follow Chareese for most of the workout. The moves go back and forth between weights and plyo and some are done on one leg, such as one leg squats with a jump. I was super S-L-O-W, but that's OK! Form is so important to prevent injuries, so I'm focusing on getting all these moves done correctly this week. It might even take me the full 3 weeks to get them down. That's OK too because I plan on doing a round TWO when this current 3 weeks is up! Last thing I want to say about this workout is that it is NOT for the week knee'd. And many of the moves require a bit of balance! Oh and...you will need a resistance band!
I rounded out this work week nicely with clean eating. I stayed away from the candy bowl every day. It's only taunting me from one cubicle down y'all! That girl keeps that bowl filled all day too. Actually the only bit of sugar I consumed all week (aside from the fruit) was 1.5tsp organic sugar in my coffee every morning and I'm not giving that up, so call it a cheat if you must. I'm not going for bikini model here. I'm not even trying to get "shredded" as you hear her talk about in a lot of the workouts. Maybe one day. That's not my goal.
Tomorrow is Pilates Fix Extreme. I am not a fan of Pilates. Like, at all. I'd rather eat pie and have a latte. I am mentally preparing myself for a rough day FOUR.
