Ok so let’s talk about Upper Fix Extreme.
My arms are weak, so this was intense for me.
Autumn starts right off the bat with push-ups. Of course.
Because of the loss of mobility in my right wrist over the years, push-ups are public enemy #1. I can sort of relate to 'ol T-Rex here, in that I feel pretty helpless when someone says "drop and give me 20."

Because of the loss of mobility in my right wrist over the years, push-ups are public enemy #1. I can sort of relate to 'ol T-Rex here, in that I feel pretty helpless when someone says "drop and give me 20."
I have to use push up stands, but I didn’t have them with me so I laid on my back and did a chest press for the full minute. The other move that was hard for me, also because of my wrist, were the tricep dips. I used a chair instead of the floor and that worked great! Autumn will have you alternate most of these upper body exercises by doing 30 seconds with heavy weights and 30 seconds with lighter weights. I used 8lbs and 5lbs. The resistance band is also introduced today. I liked the variation of incorporating that into the workout. My favorite move was the Twisted Abs (picture on the photos page). Overall, I really liked the intensity of this workout compared to the original. You are not just working your arms; your legs are burning too! Some of the moves are done in a lunge or sumo squat position. I pushed through it all concentrating on my form and not the number of reps. I really didn’t have to follow Chareisse and at the end my arms were on fire! High fives all around!

My eating was very clean today! But my dinner was gross! I decided I would try to bake Pollock instead of Tilapia and that was a mistake. I will stick with my tilapia, thank you very little. I also cooked Brussel sprouts. It was completely unsatisfying! I ended the day by licking 2 tsp of peanut butter right off the spoon! All better :)
