I feel like I have made huge strides in the last 8 days and I am so proud of myself! It's a great feeling and propels me further toward my goals! I love that I have 3 fabulous girlfriends at work that are doing this right along side me. We have lots of fun exchanging thoughts and motivating one another. I have more mental clarity and energy to get things done around the house since I've quit eating all that crap-tastic junk food! Usually when I come home from work, I am a bit grumpy because I feel sluggish and just want to slip into my PJs and lay on the couch. I don't, because as a mom we just have to keep at it, but I feel like I could. You get me? So for week 2 I had to move my workout routine to the evenings after work. I was really nervous about this and a bit fearful I wouldn't get it in. But I told Zach as soon as I picked him up that mommy needed 35 minutes to get her workout done and then I would fix dinner. He typically plays outside with friends when he gets home so I tried not to feel guilty about this. So I completed the Total Cardio Fix while he played hoops with a friend. Whew, this is such a complete workout and I love it! I was able to do so much more than last week so that is progress! And I made it through the entire ab round!! I am certain I will have to convince my legs to get out of bed tomorrow morning though! Thankfully they can be bribed with coffee! Oh, and I got to use my own play list tonight! The videos have a really neat feature where you can turn the music off, but not Autumn's instruction and coaching which is great because I need her encouragement right around 24 seconds left of each move!
