This spreadsheet is not something I will have to do once I have completed the fix, it's simply an organization and time saving tool for these 21 days. I will always plan my dinners for the week because, like I said yesterday, as a working mama...I HAVE to do this!
Cardio Fix kicked my big old booty today! Wow! #intense! My favorite moves were the "Cross Jacks", "Skater's Lunge" and the "Lateral Squat Walk". I was able to do these 3 moves without stopping or modifying and I felt like a beast! There were also burpees & mountain climbers which are impossible for me because of my...altogether now...my lame wrist! I'm looking forward to trying some modifications of them next week! Today I want to talk about planning. If you are going to give this all you've got I think that planning is THE single most important thing you can do for yourself. I created a spreadsheet in excel for Monday thru Sunday. I cannot take credit for it, I found it online & recreated it. Here's a snapshot... This is my week 2 plan. It was a bit of a headache putting together, I can't lie. I use this to put together my shopping list. God forbid I leave the house without it. With the chart done, I'm all set for the entire week and it saves me TONS of time on weeknights. I usually shop Friday if it's my day off and Saturday if I had to work Friday. And I shop for the entire week! I may have to make a short grocery run during the week for produce or fresh fish. Sunday is my prep day. I wash all my veggies, make up salad containers that I can just grab the night before, cut my fruit, etc. I try to make my lunch, leftovers from the night before if I can. This may seem extremeley regimented, but I just call it organized! I did stick to the list, but I also made adjustments as the week went on. If, say, I was not hungry for a morning snack, I may have pushed my afternoon snack to after dinner and had my morning snack in the afternoon. This spreadsheet is not something I will have to do once I have completed the fix, it's simply an organization and time saving tool for these 21 days. I will always plan my dinners for the week because, like I said yesterday, as a working mama...I HAVE to do this! What are some things you do that help you save time during the week? Do you plan out your meals? Do you take a list to the grocery to the store or shop off the top of your head?

So here's what I do! When the weekly ads come in the mail, I pull out Kroger, HEB, and Sprouts. Then I go through each ad and find the sale items for stuff that we actually eat.
