I knocked out Day One Cardio last night! I had no idea what to expect. What I mean to say is, I had no idea if I would end up on the floor after it was all over. I must say, it was NOT easy, but it wasn’t so taxing that your average beginner couldn’t follow along at their own pace. I finished it and I didn't end up like this guy! I found myself finishing somewhere between “I nailed it” and “barely made it”! If the rest of this week’s workouts are as awesome as this one, I’m in for a real treat these next 10 weeks! Shaun T is an awesome coach! He encourages and motivates you to push yourself. He is straight to the point and won’t let you quit! If you need to, Tammy is moderating every move. And I mean, she is actually moderating! Which was not the case in the P90x3 series if you ask me! Tammy may not be hopping and jumping around as much as the others, but she IS working hard there’s no doubt! And Shaun T makes it perfectly clear that if you need to follow her, do it! No shame there! He wants you to FOCUS, go at your own pace. Each week you will get better and be able to increase your speed. There is one technical aspect of this video that I loved and I feel it’s worth mentioning. The videographer stays focused on the entire class for the most part. You know those at home workouts where you can’t keep up because half the time the camera guy is moving around the room so much, and so fast, you feel dizzy and you can’t quite get the moves down because he won’t stay still and focused on the instructor? Yea? I hate that!! This is filmed so that you can see Shaun T the entire time, as well as the moderator! So the bottom line? This cardio workout is 25 minutes of heart pumping moves with no rest in between. And it’s 25 minutes! Who can’t carve out 25 minutes?! Not only was my heart pumping for 25 minutes straight, I was breathless, and my thighs and quads were burning too! I am already starting to feel the burn in my legs! Love that feeling!
